STEM Programs
Our STEM programs can be tailored to any requirement, our offering is varied and our scheduling is flexible. Our lessons are designed to help students develop skills in problem-solving, creative and critical thinking. We welcome collaborations with administrators and/or directors who seek to incorporate STEM curriculum into their programs. We come to you and provide the necessary materials and equipment for all interactive lessons and activities. Professional Development programming also available, reach out for more information.
● Competitive Robotics
FIRST LEGO League introduces a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus on and research. The students work out solutions to various problems and then meet for regional, national and international tournaments to compete, share their knowledge, compare ideas, and display their robots. ● Hardware Design Students explore hardware design as they turn everyday objects into touch pads while making art, creating electronic music beats, coding games, and much more. ● Software Programming & Coding Students program their own interactive stories, games, and animations. Kids learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work together. Fundamental coding skills transition by level from block coding learning platforms to script coding languages including HTML, Java, and Python. |
● 3D Video Game Design
Students learn about different video game genres and explore the field of 3D video game design. Kids focus on 3D graphics and programming strategies to push their creativity to the next level. ● App Inventor Students get hands-on experience in developing Android applications. Kids learn basic programming skills and computational thinking through hands-on games and practical tools that make programming apps fun and easy. ● Physics How do we understand the world around us? Students will investigate physical science through a variety of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and chemical reactions to learn how forces act upon basic components. Kids learn about the basics of energy, traction, aerodynamics, durability, analyze various power sources and wiring methods. They also explore the molecular structure of substances and materials. |
● Architecture & Urban Planning
We explore key concepts in architecture that make stable structures possible. Kids examine various types of forces and discover how tension, compression, and torsion can be properly distributed throughout their structures. We also investigate urban planning concepts to assess how cities function. ● Lighting Design Lighting design as a discipline is a fairly new profession in the world of STEAM. It is a practice where both science and art truly intertwine. Students explore practical principals of lighting design as well as investigate how lighting influences human emotions and our state of mind. ● Animation & Set Design Animators work with artists, computer programmers, and film editors to produce our favorite animated movies. Students will explore the science of animation and create their own tools to help make pictures come alive. |
